Adafruit BME680 - Temperature, Humidity, Pressure and Gas Sensor

The Adafruit BME680 breakout packs four measurements into one small Bosch sensor: temperature, humidity, barometric pressure and VOC gas. It is a compact starting point for indoor air-quality projects and environmental monitors. One sensor replaces three or four separate parts, and it connects over I2C or SPI.

Key features

• Temperature, humidity and pressure with the same accuracy as the BME280
• Altitude estimate to around ±1 m from the pressure reading
• Heated metal-oxide (MOX) gas sensor that reacts to volatile organic compounds, such as ethanol, alcohol and carbon monoxide
• Reports a single gas resistance value for overall VOC content; it cannot tell individual gases apart
• I2C or SPI interface, 3–5 V logic compatible
