SainSmart LW-PLA Lightweight Foaming PLA Filament 1.75mm, 1kg

SainSmart LW-PLA is a lightweight, active foaming PLA filament developed for RC aircraft, drones and cosplay. Above about 210°C it expands as it prints, producing low-density parts that cut wing loading and stall speed on model planes. One roll can go much further than regular PLA.

Key features

• Low density of 0.54 g/cm³ for much lighter printed parts
• Foams up to 220%, so one roll can do the work of about 2.2 rolls of ordinary PLA
• Tune expansion, density and strength by adjusting temperature, speed and flow, even within one model
• Good layer bonding, drop resistance and repairability
• Smooth matte surface with faint layer lines that takes paint well
• Available in Black or White
